Please provide Food Safety Plan - A brief outline of how food will be stored, prepared, and served safely - Include temperature control methods and allergen labeling practices

 

Food vendors are the soul of the Black Brilliance Expo’s flavor experience — serving up bold, authentic, and mouthwatering dishes that reflect the richness of African American culinary traditions and innovation.

Each approved food vendor will receive:

 

  • One table and one chair
  • Access to basic event amenities
  • Electricity (available upon request and approval)

This tier is ideal for:

  • Caterers and chefs specializing in soul food, fusion cuisine, or cultural dishes
  • Beverage vendors offering juices, teas, or specialty drinks

 

Important Requirements: Food vendors must provide the following documentation:

 

  • Valid South Carolina Temporary Food Service Permit
  • Proof of Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification
  • Food safety plan and handwashing setup
  • Equipment list and waste disposal plan
  • Business license or EIN (recommended)
